No, tickets do not need to be printed. You can pull up your e-ticket QR code or bar code on your mobile device by viewing the ticket confirmation email you were sent or following the link sent to your phone if you selected mobile delivery. Once you can see the code on your screen, head straight to the pre-purchased tickets entrance.

Tickets purchased through Walgreens are valid on any day you choose to attend Magical Winter Lights except for November 13 & 27 and December 4 & 11 when MWL is closed.

Please note: Walgreens tickets are valid upon entry and do not need to be redeemed at the box office. Please go directly to the pre-purchased tickets gate to enter the festival with your Walgreens tickets.*

*Carnival ride tickets purchased through Walgreens WILL need to be redeemed for a wristband at the carnival booth inside the festival.  

If you purchased carnival ride wristbands online or at Walgreens, the e-tickets or vouchers will need to be exchanged for wristbands inside the festival, at the carnival box office.

Parking at Magical Winters Lights is $5 on-site CASH ONLY.

Magical Winter Lights is on a well-maintained asphalt parking lot and is wheelchair accessible. However, we do not have wheelchairs for rent on-site. You are welcome to bring standard wheelchairs or handicap scooters for guests in need of assistance. Handicap Parking is available on site in Lot A near the box offices.

Permitted items include:

Personal cameras, tripods, blankets, strollers, wagons, wheelchairs/scooters, diaper bags and food for infant/young children/people with special dietary needs.

Prohibited items:

Outside food and drinks, pets (exception for service animals), laser pointers, spike jewelry, cans, bottles, containers of any kind, weapons (including pocket knives and concealed guns), coolers, obscene or indecent clothing, pop up tents, playpens, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, illegal substances, bikes, roller skates, and skateboards.

Animals will not be allowed at Magical Winter Lights, with the exception of service animals.

Please monitor Magical Winter Lights’ website and all social media platforms for latest weather information. We recommend visiting on a day with optimal weather to enjoy the festival at its best. Your tickets can be used on any day of the festival except for Nov 13 & 27, Dec 4 & 11 when MWL is closed.

Yes, your tickets are valid any operating day from November 10, 2017 to January 2, 2018. The festival is closed on November 13, November 27, December 4, and December 11.


Admission to the festival includes full access to all the lantern attraction sections, Chinese acrobatic performances, and character appearances.

Cultural performances fill fast, so arrive early and save your seat! Performance times are:

Sunday through Thursday: 6:30 PM & 8:30 PM
Fridays and Saturdays: 7 PM & 9 PM

Admission to MWL does not include carnival rides/games, food, souvenirs, professional photographs, or commercial vendor shops.

All MWL ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges.

Yes, tickets can be purchased at the box office on-site. We recommend pre-purchasing tickets to avoid long lines at the box office.

Remember: We do not accept American Express Cards!

Outside food and drinks are not permitted at MWL.

MWL is a smoke-free environment including electronic cigarettes.

Yes, MWL has four ATMs located at the front gate, the carnival ticket booths, and festival food court.

The information booth is located near the entrance if you would like to report or look for a lost item. You may also reach us using our Contact Us form with a brief message and description of your items. Remember not all items are turned in, but we will try our best to retrieve your belongings if turned in. MWL is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

It will take approximately 2 hours to walk through the lantern exhibits and to catch a Chinese acrobatic performance included in your admission.

We recommend carving out about 3 hours of your day since Magical Winter Lights also offers other entertainment like a full-service carnival, musical performances, vendor shops, a food court and more!

Our “Family Ticket” is an ongoing effort to help increase our customer’s experience when entering into a larger event with young children. Therefore, you will not be required to view and print individual tickets for this year’s event.

  • Please print your order receipt as this will be your valid ticket into the event.

The 2D barcode located at the top of your receipt can be scanned from a printed receipt and/or mobile device. *The barcode at the top of your receipt will scan as many times as there are tickets.

The 2D Barcode located on your receipt will scan as many times as you have tickets. Therefore, if you enter the event with 4 people but you have a total of 10 tickets our admission staff will only check in 4 of your 10 tickets and the barcode will still contain any leftover quantity of tickets.

You may print multiple copies of your receipt in order to scan those leftover tickets only. As a reminder, the 2D barcode will only scan as many times as you have tickets within that unique order ID #.
